PvErs get bitchslap with this "We think you dumb people like to do this so we added more of it."

i'd say its win/win title for pvpers and loose/loose title for pvers

PvPers only get the gold if PvErs want the title. If PvPers are making a significant amount of gold from it then there must be a significant amount of demand for it.

PvEers got AI fixes, and everyone got an account title that isn't hard to put rank 1 on the mantle.

Seriously, not every update is going to be fantastic, but some good things were done, and the title, well, I'll probably ignore it for now other than turning in my prediction points for keys now. Heck, I need to do some AB for faction, might as well get some keys while I'm at it now.

You're clearly overracting.

The new emotes are quite "rough" in comparison to existing ones - I'd personally take it as a disgrace to use any of them. I just don't care whether they are, or not. But - it's still good to know there are some ppl in AN paying attention to GW1 and implementing some new ideas. And what about those players with stacks of ectos/arms and maxed KoaBD title track? They've got finally a new way to spend their time/funds in the game

I expect demand to be high because from math i did, balth faction gain pretty slow (10-20k per day for most PvPers that have life, 100k for PvPers that have less that recomended amount of life).

That is 3 to 30 years of daily gaming to supply one maxed title to PvEr who would buy it from that player exclusivelly. In order to have reasonable ETA of achieving this title, one Pver would be buying regulary from dozen or so of PvPers. This is title whose max rank can consume daily faction output of whole GWs population.

Even if few couple of people go for this seriously, demand is guaranteed to be HUGE. and now add a whole lot of people who casually buy couple of keys now and then.

Let's not, unless they turn it into a 'total Balthazar faction gained' title at the same time.

A vast number of existing Balthazar points have already been rewarded, with unlocks or to acquire keys that were sold to other players who didn't get title points for them either. No need to reward those again.

Z chest title is another crap attempt to make the game better/give us more content.

I'm starting to think that guild wars was the best before factions. Before they started to mess with everything time, and time again.

Nostalgia aside, for every good idea they had, they had two bad ones. Or they implemented an actually good idea in the worst way possible!

I thought it was a title that rewarded points for beating the zaishen (elite) challenges, but alas, it's just a Z-key gold sink.
I'd rather have a KoaBD title emote instead too. ah well...
the first person who actually maxxes this title officially has no life at all.
I sure hope Z-key prices will skyrocket. more money for me selling them
